senior games volunteers
It’s that time of year again when we begin to finalize plans for the Missouri State Senior Games which are scheduled for June 19-22, 2008. We would like to invite you to again join us as a volunteer for the 2008 Missouri State Senior Games. Also, if you have friends or family members who would be interested in helping with the games, please enclose their names and addresses with your registration form or call us at (573) 884-2946 and we will send a registration form to them.

Last year's evnet was again a huge success. We had 1,700 senior athletes from 15 states take part. Much of the credit for the success of our games must go to the outstanding group of volunteers, like you, who have contributed a lot of time and hard work to make the Senior Games a first class event. Your efforts have certainly been noticed and appreciated by the competitors who have had nothing but compliments for the work of the volunteers.

This year, we anticipate welcoming over 1,700 participants, along with members of their families and friends. We are confident that these visitors and participants will be impressed with the warmest hospitality mid-Missouri has to offer. We hope you are able to enjoy some of the many activities that will be taking place during the Senior Games. As participation in our games continues to grow, the number of volunteers needed to assist us in the administration of this event increases proportionately. Thus, we urge you to be a Missouri State Senior Games volunteer.

On behalf of everyone associated with the Missouri State Senior Games, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your generous contribution of time as a volunteer. Your enthusiasm and courtesy will provide a rewarding experience for all our visitors.
