2014 MFA OIL - BREAK TIME SHOOTOUT
The 21st anniversary MFA Oil-Break Time Shootout on Sunday, January 26 at Mizzou Arena will match top teams from the state of Missouri. This annual fundraiser for the Show-Me STATE GAMES will bring in 12 high school basketball teams to play at Mizzou Arena, home of the Missouri Tigers.
11:00am - Versailles vs. Sacred Heart
Celebrating its 21st year in 2014, the MFA Oil-Break Time Shootout is the longest-standing fundraiser for the Show-Me STATE GAMES. During the 21 years of the event, many great players have been a part of the Missouri basketball tradition, including Dorial Green-Beckham, David Lee, Justin Gage, and Ben and Tyler Hansbrough.
The GAMES is extremely grateful for the support from MFA Oil and Break Time in making this event a success.
Proceeds from the MFA Oil-Break Time Shootout benefit the Show-Me STATE GAMES. The Show-Me STATE GAMES was established in 1985 as a non-profit program of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness & Health. Now the largest state games in the nation, the Show-Me STATE GAMES is hosted by the University of Missouri. In addition to the summer games, the Show-Me STATE GAMES offers events throughout the year to promote health, fitness, family and fun. The Show-Me STATE GAMES generates $15 million in economic impact annually in Columbia. This year the Show-Me STATE GAMES and MFA Oil - Break Time named a most valuable player following the conclusion of each game. The following players took the award home.
In addition, this year the Show-Me STATE GAMES and MFA Oil presented the All-Academic Award, a new recognition given to the player from each team with the highest GPA. MFA Oil and the Show-Me STATE GAMES value not only athleticism but recognize the importance of academics.

RECAP OF 2011 MFA OIL - BREAK TIME SHOOTOUT - On January 30, 2011, 12 top Missouri high school boy’s basketball teams came together at Mizzou Arena for the 18th Annual MFA Oil - Break Time Shootout. The 2011 Shootout brought top talent from across the state. Ten of the teams played in their district championship during the previous season, six of them taking home the title. 2011 schedule and results are listed below.
