Show Me State Games


The Show-Me STATE GAMES (SMSG) is an Olympic-style sports festival with more than 40 sports for all ages and ability levels. In addition to the summer games, the Show-Me STATE GAMES offers events throughout the year to promote health, fitness, family and fun. 

Thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, participants and commissioners who made the 2011 Show-Me STATE GAMES a success.  In 2011, 26,927 people participated in the summer games and year-round participation for all of 2011 SMSG events will be more than 34,500.  This mean the GAMES brought nearly 70,000 guests to Columbia.
