February Hoopin It Up Weather Update (updated Sun. at 6:40 a.m.):
First games on Sunday will be delayed until 10:00am.
Games will be shortened. Clock will not stop on free throws. Games will run about every 45 minutes.
8:00 games become 10:00.
9:00 games become 10:45.
10:00 games become 11:30.
11:00 games become 12:15.
12:00 games become 1:00.
1:00 games become 1:45.
By the 2:00 games we should be to the finals and will play according to our original rules.
The Show-Me STATE GAMES (SMSG) is an Olympic-style sports festival with more than 40 sports for all ages and ability levels. In addition to the summer games, the Show-Me STATE GAMES offers events throughout the year to promote health, fitness, family and fun.
In 2014, 25,714 athletes competed in the summer GAMES and 34,056 participants took part in year-round events, meaning the GAMES brought more than 68,112 participants and spectators to Columbia this year!
